About Us
Digital Learning sprouted in December 2004 as a Winnipeg-based e-Learning content development and course hosting company. We wanted to graft our strong Computer Science backgrounds and years of classroom experience to a solid instructional design background. Digital Learning is informal, friendly, and family oriented, and prides itself on being a good corporate citizen.
For us, e-Learning is evidence based practice, where sound research feeds our instructional design decisions.
When we began our first “external” project, an XSLT Web-content generator, Web 2.0 was little more than pollen in the wind. More successful than we’d ever anticipated, that project was the seed for Digital Learning. And so began the rapid growth and expansion that we’ve experienced since its planting in December 2004.
The result: engaging and reusable e-Learning solutions. Our early roots in simulation development, SCORM-compliant course hosting, and rapid content development, now feed Digital Learning’s new branches of Web 2.0 tools and applications.
