Jody Baty
Jody's more than ten years of practical experience in e-Learning, complemented by his educational background in business, computer science and educational technology, make him the ideal person to drive Digital Learning’s product and service offerings. In his current role, Jody serves as Project Manager for the development of all products in the myCATs suite. Jody earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from the University of Manitoba and has recently completed a Masters of Educational Technology at the University of Calgary. He is currently pursuing the Certified Scrum Practitioner designation through the Scrum Alliance.

Guy Dugas
Guy's three decades of industry and post-secondary experience are anchored in undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Education, and a Masters in Post-Secondary Administration. DL's Business Development Manager, Guy continues to participate on numerous post-secondary technology committees, projects, and advisory boards, has presented at international conferences such as the WebCT user’s conference and the League for Innovation, and was co-recipient of the 2007 CADE/AMTEC national award for Excellence and Innovation in the Use of Learning Technology.

Mike Poitras
A graduate of the Computer Analyst/Programmer program at Red River College, Mike is responsible for the development and delivery of our online course offerings. He has been instrumental in the success of the award-winning Science of Early Child Development multimedia resource, which has been now delivered to over 3000 students worldwide. A strong believer in lifelong learning, Mike has recently completed the Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education program at the University of Manitoba.

Performing a wide range of important tasks, Angie is the glue that keeps Digital Learning together. She has been working behind the scenes since the start to ensure that the bills are paid, students are happy, phone calls are returned, and generally just keeping the rest of us on track. Prior to joining Digital Learning, Angie worked as a Registered Nurse at Canadian Blood Services.

Alicia Ramirez
Alicia Ramirez holds a BA (Hons.) in Communication Sciences and an MS from the University of Arizona in Management Information Systems. She is a web designer with over 10 years experience (visit aliciaramirez.com). Alicia has also taught web design and information architecture at college level for the past 5 years. Alicia has participated in a variety of projects with Digital Learning, including our own web presence design.

Ruby on Rails and Open Source evangelist, Apple fanboy, and fruit tea aficionado, Jose has grafted his expertise in cutting edge and open source web development technologies to the ever-expanding Digital Learning tree.

Dr. Dieter Schönwetter
Director of Educational Resources and Faculty Development in the Faculty of Dentisry at the University of Manitoba, Dieter is an educational development specialist and researcher. Since 1999, his primary responsibilities are for curriculum management and mapping in the dental and dental hygiene programs, faculty development of future professoriate, graduate training, and research. Dieter enjoys collaborating with others on research projects that provide practical outcomes.
